In late December a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.livescience.com\/tardigrade-quantum-entangled-experiment\">frozen tardigrade became the first &#8216;quantum entangled&#8217; animal in history (researchers claim)<\/a>. If you&#8217;re a child of the 1970s, you no doubt appreciate the fact that this is the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Quantum_mysticism#Appropriation_by_New_Age_thought\">first ever successful creation of artificial extra-sensory perception (ESP) in an animal<\/a>!!!1!<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">(Meanwhile, if you are a scientist or someone who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.livescience.com\/tardigrade-quantum-entangled-experiment\">read the entire article<\/a>, you more likely appreciate that these researchers &#8220;did not entangle a tardigrade with a qubit in any meaningful sense&#8221;\u2014but it&#8217;s still neat that they took a tardigrade down to nearly absolute zero and successfully revived it.
