I have a story to share on X subject myself\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Bailey (@the_author_) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/the_author_\/status\/797802393379471361\">November 13, 2016<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The key takeaway, in my humble: <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">Use <\/span><span class=\"s1\">LOGIC<\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0to come to <i>your<\/i> conclusions, but appeal to others&#8217; ETHICS\u00a0and\u00a0EMOTIONS\u00a0to persuade them.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Speak honestly and authentically about your own experience.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Here&#8217;s an example of how I might apply this in conversation:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\">&#8220;I totally hear that you feel like the country has made some big, jarring shifts in the last eight years, and you feel left out in the cold. But here&#8217;s the thing: I&#8217;ve\u00a0been surprised by\u00a0the number of Jews I know who&#8217;ve\u00a0taken steps since the election to be sure that they and their children can leave the country in a hurry.
